Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Trenton, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess physical capabilities and limitations, using evidence-based assessment tools.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals, addressing their specific orthopedic conditions.
• Administer hands-on therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities, enabling patients to improve their movement, strength, and overall function.
• Educate patients and their families on effective at-home exercises and self-care strategies to enhance recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for our patients.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other musculoskeletal disorders. You will play a crucial role in tailoring rehabilitation strategies to meet each patient's unique needs and goals, fostering a supportive environment for recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid physical therapist licensure in the state of New Jersey.
• Demonstrated experience of at least three years in an orthopedic clinical setting, encompassing hands-on therapy and patient engagement.
• In-depth understanding of musculoskeletal conditions, their diagnoses, and treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
