Work Environment

Located in Allentown, NJ, our outpatient facility is designed to foster a calm and steady-paced atmosphere for patient treatments. We serve adult patients primarily between the ages of 40 and 65, accommodating a maximum of three patients per hour, allowing therapists to dedicate the necessary time and attention for tailored treatment. The work setting encourages collaboration among team members, leading to holistic care that addresses the diverse needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine suitable goals and treatment plans.
• Implement hands-on manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain, enhance function, and restore mobility.
• Design and guide individualized strength and movement programs tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Regularly assess patient progress and adapt treatment approaches based on clinical outcomes and patient feedback.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide cohesive care that addresses all aspects of the patient's health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will primarily focus on adult patients, particularly those seeking recovery from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The calm environment allows for personalized care strategies that empower patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals effectively.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating proficiency in manual therapy and rehabilitation techniques.
• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, to track patient progress and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Expertise in specific treatment modalities like dry needling, Kinesio taping, or specialized orthopedic rehabilitation methods.
• Experience in developing community health initiatives or educational seminars focused on injury prevention and wellness.

Compensation and Benefits
