Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs based on their specific conditions, age demographics, and functional requirements.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with best practices and departmental policies, ensuring each patient's unique needs are met.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations of patient progress using advanced software systems to objectively measure treatment outcomes.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and progress notes with precision to ensure compliance and facilitate continuous care.
• Engage and educate patients about their conditions and treatment options, empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to deliver comprehensive care for each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population experiencing a variety of orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and degenerative diseases. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping patients regain mobility and strength, ultimately enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with acceptance of a temporary permit for qualifying candidates.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)/HealthCare Provider.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic physical therapy setting is highly preferred.
• Experience with advanced therapeutic techniques, manual therapy, and evidence-based modalities to optimize patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
