Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical reviews and screenings prior to initial evaluations to determine each patient's needs and their potential to benefit from skilled therapy services.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations under physician orders, creating customized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Implement treatment plans through direct patient care, demonstrate therapeutic exercises, and supervise physical therapy assistants and other staff to ensure effective treatment delivery.
• Maintain high standards of patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all communications and documentation.
• Regularly update and maintain accurate billing and compliance documentation, ensuring adherence to facility policies and procedures.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to share clinical findings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, enhancing patient outcomes.
• Facilitate family meetings as required, keeping families informed and involved in the patient's rehabilitation process.
• Lead staff training sessions and informal in-services to promote continuous learning and professional development within the therapy team.
• Uphold the highest standards of care by following established clinical protocols and facility policies, ensuring the best practices are met.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work as a Physical Therapist will involve treating a diverse patient population ranging from athletes recovering from injuries to older adults managing chronic pain conditions. You will focus on developing personalized treatment modalities that promote healing, strength, and functional independence. Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Applicants must hold a current Florida State License as a Physical Therapist.
• Valid Florida Driver's License, registration, and insurance required.
• Current certification in CPR, along with completed physical and PPD tests.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred but not mandatory.
