Work Environment

The position is onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility, equipped with the latest therapeutic tools and technology necessary for effective treatment delivery. As a PT, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team in a collaborative environment designed to promote patient safety and satisfaction. We ensure our staff has access to minimal paperwork to focus primarily on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage clinical outcomes and address any outlier cases by collaborating with other therapy staff, ensuring every patient's rehabilitation is effective and tailored to their needs.
• Establish and refine clinical workflows to optimize patient capture, manage referrals, and streamline scheduling to enhance efficiency and patient engagement.
• Implement personalized therapy plans for each patient, prioritizing early intervention and facilitating same-day evaluations when necessary to maximize recovery potential.
• Create a professional, respectful, and collaborative atmosphere conducive to teamwork and excellence in patient care.
• Engage with the Director of Therapy Operations (DTO) to identify and implement clinical improvement opportunities, embodying a mindset of continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with employers, referral sources, and payer groups through regular communications to ensure comprehensive care.
• Master the clinical systems for efficient documentation, proper coding, charge capture, and thorough follow-through on all patient care orders.
• Ensure compliance with the Florida State Practice Act, relevant rules and regulations, and worker's compensation guidelines to uphold the highest standards of practice.
• Drive patient and client experience metrics to maintain high levels of satisfaction and engagement, consistently demonstrating best practices as outlined in the Physical Therapy Guidebook.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility caters to a diverse clientele, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, musculoskeletal injuries, neurological conditions, and other rehabilitation needs. You will play a key role in tailoring rehabilitation strategies to support a variety of patient goals and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Florida State licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with strong logical reasoning skills to assess patient needs and propose appropriate interventions.
• Outstanding customer service skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a rehabilitation facility or similar clinical setting.
• Experience with various patient populations and therapeutic modalities is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
