Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical evaluations of residents to assess their capabilities and tailor appropriate treatment plans.
• Develop and implement evidence-based therapy programs aimed at enhancing strength, mobility, and overall functional independence.
• Monitor resident progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans and strategies based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, sharing insights and collaborating on treatment goals.
• Educate patients and their families about home exercise regimens and wellness strategies to empower them in their recovery process.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities to address specific physical impairments.
• Uphold compliance with all state regulations and adhere to professional standards in physical therapy practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. (Master's Degree or Doctorate preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an orthopedic or rehabilitation setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing individualized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked in skilled nursing facilities or with geriatric populations. Compensation and Benefits
