Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities, limitations, and treatment needs, using advanced assessment tools to create a baseline for progress tracking.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans that focus on enhancing strength, mobility, and functional independence, ensuring they are tailored to each resident's specific goals.
• Administer various therapeutic modalities, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other interventions to alleviate pain and restore function.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, maintaining detailed records to communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families about exercise regimens, injury prevention strategies, and home care techniques to support ongoing recovery and health maintenance.
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions, collaborating with healthcare providers to create coherent and comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, maintaining high professional standards in clinical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience
