Motion Menders Therapy is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic outpatient team in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in supporting patients on their journey to restore movement, enhance mobility, and improve their overall quality of life. Located in the heart of Port Saint Lucie, our 5,000 square-foot space is designed to provide high-quality care to athletes and active individuals seeking recovery and restoration. Our team features experienced professionals dedicated to delivering effective treatment through evidence-based practices, and we partner with a variety of private health insurance providers to increase accessibility for our patient population.

Work Environment

In the welcoming atmosphere of our outpatient office, you will collaborate closely with a dedicated team, consisting of two Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Our facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation tools and therapies to ensure that you have the resources necessary to provide exceptional patient care. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy balance between professional dedication and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and establish treatment goals.
• Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring each receives focused and individualized care.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities to create tailored care plans aimed at improving mobility and function.
• Educate and inspire patients on exercises and techniques to facilitate their healing journey.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide well-rounded care and maximize patient benefits.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient interactions and treatment services in compliance with EMR systems, such as WebPT.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• An active State Physical Therapist License, with no board or disciplinary actions.
• Proven manual therapy skills to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Proficiency with EMR software, particularly WebPT, for streamlined patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on involvement in multidisciplinary treatment planning and execution would be advantageous.
• A strong commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on best practices in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
