Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' needs by conducting initial assessments that guide individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Implement personalized therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation interventions, providing hands-on guidance to encourage patient engagement and motivation.
• Educate clients and their families on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home exercise regimens to sustain improvements and prevent future injuries.
• Utilize advanced modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy to enhance the therapeutic process.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, ensuring accurate reports on functional improvements, strength gains, and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Prepare therapy areas and ensure all equipment is operational and accessible during treatment sessions, maintaining a safe and inviting environment.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that may include occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement, fostering a supportive atmosphere that promotes recovery and improvement.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards, ensuring confidentiality and respect for patient rights and dignity.
