Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop tailored therapy plans that align with their goals and medical history.
• Conduct individual therapy sessions, managing a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring attentive and high-quality care for each client.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Design fitness and wellness programs that help patients build strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, guiding them toward achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to create a comprehensive care plan that may reduce the need for surgeries and minimize pain management interventions.
• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate patient records, using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT to streamline patient care management.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary, keeping open communication channels with both patients and referring physicians.
• Motive and encourage patients throughout their therapy process, fostering an environment of trust and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Horizon Flex Therapy, you will primarily serve an orthopedic clientele. Our patients often include individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility and function. Your role is to inspire confidence and empower these clients to regain independence and enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Valid Florida Physical Therapist License, with no disciplinary actions or board actions on record.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or the ability to obtain one before commencing employment.
• Proficient manual therapy skills and a strong foundation in therapeutic exercises.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, allowing for effective patient interactions and collaboration with colleagues.
• Experience using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to document and manage patient care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting.
• Proven track record of developing treatment protocols and achieving positive patient outcomes.
• Experience in working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to optimize patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a robust salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
