Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to accurately assess the physical abilities and limitations of patients.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans aimed at restoring patients' mobility and reducing pain, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, providing one-on-one treatment sessions primarily focused on orthopedic conditions.
• Incorporate various therapeutic modalities and exercise techniques to improve range of motion, strength, and functionality.
• Document patient assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes meticulously to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate and empower patients by providing information on their conditions, treatment options, and home exercise programs.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for patient recovery.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on individual progress and feedback.
• Maintain a commitment to reducing patients' reliance on medications and exploring non-invasive alternatives to surgeries.
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions, contributing valuable insights and strategies based on individual patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our clinic, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Your role will directly impact patients of all ages, guiding them through challenging rehab stages following operations like joint replacements, fractures, or sports injuries. Your ability to motivate and engage patients will be crucial in reducing their pain and enhancing their overall physical function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (Master's or Doctorate preferred).
• Active and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A strong professional ethical record with no prior disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based rehabilitation strategies.
• Experience in developing exercise protocols that cater specifically to orthopedic conditions.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Proven success in managing patient caseloads effectively, ensuring individualized care.
• Skills in providing patient education regarding healthful lifestyle choices.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
