Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing therapists to engage with clients from the comfort of their own homes while delivering high-quality mental health care. As part of a community health clinic, you will be integrated into a supportive and collaborative environment. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs. A sign-on bonus is also offered to welcome you to our team.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately identify each patient’s needs and create tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, engaging with individuals, couples, and families through modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops, fostering a community of support among patients facing similar mental health challenges.

• Work closely with our multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, supporting patients during mental health emergencies with immediate and effective strategies.

• Educate patients on mental health issues, helping them understand their conditions and available resources within the community.

• Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and confidential patient records in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in professional development activities, including case consultations and team meetings, to stay informed about the latest advancements in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a varied patient demographic who are seeking treatment for issues ranging from anxiety disorders to major depressive episodes and substance use issues. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Solid understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment models.

• Ability to conduct thorough mental health evaluations and craft effective treatment strategies.

• Experience in providing individual and group therapy to a diverse range of clients.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.

• Commitment to maintaining ethical standards in practice.

• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems to manage patient information.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
