Assistant General Counsel-Construction

Our client, a leader in the LNG space, is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to advise the company on drafting and negotiating a wide range of engineering, procurement and construction agreements, procurement contracts, purchase orders and services agreements to support the development, design, engineering, procurement and construction of export facilities and associated natural gas pipelines, as well as assist with other corporate and transactional matters.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced construction lawyer to guide and contribute to some of the largest and most-capital intensive energy infrastructure projects worldwide.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of experience working at a large law firm, with experience drafting and negotiating construction, procurement and similar agreements for large scale energy projects, and preferably for LNG facilities.
• A strong academic record from top schools.
• Admission to the Texas or New York State bar.
