Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary: Our Emergency Department (ED) RNs are essential frontline providers responsible for delivering urgent and specialized care to patients of all ages during emergency situations. They must be prepared to handle trauma, acute illnesses, and mental health emergencies with precision and compassion. Responsibilities: Assess and prioritize incoming patients based on their physical and mental health conditions. Provide immediate, high-quality nursing care in fast-paced emergency settings. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans. Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, families, and hospital staff. Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records. Respond swiftly to trauma and critical incidents, ensuring patient safety and stability. Qualifications: Require a minimum of 18 months of recent ED nursing experience. Hold an active NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. Possess BLS certification (AHA) and ACLS certification. Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge, analytical skills, and effective patient communication. Must have ASN degree; BSN preferred.
