Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Our Emergency Department (ED) RNs are crucial in providing immediate and specialized care to patients in urgent and trauma situations. They are trained to handle a broad spectrum of emergencies across all age groups, ensuring swift and accurate assessment and intervention.

Responsibilities:

Assess incoming patients promptly to determine the severity of physical and mental health conditions.
Prioritize injuries and medical needs to ensure timely and effective treatment.
Administer emergency nursing care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
Respond quickly to trauma and urgent health situations with decisive actions.

Qualifications:

Valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
Minimum of 18 months of recent ED nursing experience, with at least 6 months in the past six months.
Current BLS-AHA certification; ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and Telemetry certifications preferred.
Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills to formulate effective care plans.
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
