Job Details Position: Food Service Associate Job Type: Pool / Non-Exempt Shift Details: As Needed - Flexible schedule Work Location: Crisis - Franklin County Crisis Care Center - Columbus, OH Salary: $17.00/hour Summary The Food Service Associate prepares and serves food under the direction of the Food Service Manager. Responsibilities Prepares and serves food in accordance with food safety requirements and departmental procedures. Maintains kitchen cleanliness using proper food handling techniques. Ensures all food is dated and disposed of after sell date. Monitors refrigerator temperature and documents on daily temperature log. Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws, and Recovery Innovations policies as they change. Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as outlined in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Active and valid Food Handler’s Certification. Minimum 6 months of food service experience. Familiarity with Food Safety Regulations. Strong organization skills. Basic computer skills. Must be able to pass de‑escalation training as defined by state requirements. Must be 18+ unless state requires a higher minimum age. If driving is required, must meet Recovery Innovations driving policy or submit a Non‑Driver Attestation. Travel required based on business need. Must maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Must pass background checks, substance‑abuse testing, fingerprinting clearance (if applicable), education verification, and, if driving is required, a motor vehicle report meeting carrier eligibility criteria. Physical Demands Work may involve close eye focus and significant motions of the wrist, hands, and fingers, frequent standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing/balancing on a step stool, walking, and handling. Requires eye‑hand coordination, correct vision, color vision, and auditory senses. May lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Work may be performed in an office or behavioral health facility where some hazardous conditions may exist. Benefits & Compensation Competitive hourly wage of $17.00.
