Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist Job Description

This role manages the full lifecycle recruiting process for entry-level through mid-level positions, from defining job requirements to extending offers. The Talent Acquisition Specialist partners closely with hiring teams to design and execute proactive sourcing strategies, ensuring a strong pipeline of qualified candidates. The position focuses on delivering a seamless, high-quality candidate experience while maintaining compliance with employment laws and internal processes. This is an onsite role based in Bedford, OH, offering the opportunity to contribute to a growing organization and influence its talent strategy.

• Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process from open requisition to offer stage, including job specification and development, prescreening and qualifying candidates, interviewing, and negotiating offers.
• Recruit for entry-level to mid-level roles, as well as other positions as assigned.
• Partner with hiring teams to understand functional hiring needs and translate them into effective passive and active sourcing strategies.
• Review resumes, portfolios, and credentials to assess skills, experience, and knowledge against position requirements.
• Source, screen, and shortlist candidates and present them to appropriate hiring teams in a timely and organized manner.
• Understand candidate requirements and provide compensation guidance to the business to support successful negotiation and closing of candidates.
• Develop and deliver strategic recruiting plans in collaboration with internal managers to attract top talent.
• Communicate proactively and regularly with hiring managers and candidates to ensure a seamless and transparent recruiting experience.
• Serve as the liaison between candidates and management throughout all stages of the hiring process.
• Seek out candidates who add value to the organization and maintain regular contact with potential future candidates to build a robust talent pipeline.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with candidates to ensure a high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Develop and maintain a network of professional contacts to help identify, source, and engage talent.
• Collect, interpret, and review interview feedback with hiring managers to support informed hiring decisions.
• Ensure all recruiting activities comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
• Stay informed about cutting-edge advertising and recruiting opportunities and recommend participation when appropriate to capitalize on talent acquisition opportunities.
• Develop promotional materials and recruitment collateral to support staffing efforts.
• Conduct proactive research on industry competitors and maintain familiarity with local and regional talent pools.
• Leverage online recruiting resources and tools to identify and engage top talent.
• Use creative recruiting methods, including internet job boards, print advertising, job fairs, universities, vocational schools, and other channels.
• Participate in college recruitment activities such as information sessions, on-campus interviews, and career fairs.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with colleges, universities, community organizations, and professional associations to generate qualified applicants.
• Research, analyze, prepare, and present internal staffing trends and retention strategies to inform talent planning.
• Develop and execute staffing strategies for a variety of levels, including support for higher-level and executive placements as needed.
• Streamline and enhance staffing systems, tracking, reporting, and analytics to improve recruiting effectiveness.
• Lead sourcing and recruiting initiatives that leverage networking and employee referrals.
• Support and oversee college relations and various sourcing and internship programs as part of broader staffing efforts.
• Assist with relocation, immigration, and other staffing administration responsibilities as required.
• Provide excellent customer service to candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the hiring process.
• Support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires, as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall staffing and human resources objectives.

• Minimum 2–5 years of recruiting or staffing experience managing full cycle recruiting processes.
• Proven experience in full lifecycle recruiting, including job definition, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
• Considerable skill in interviewing techniques and candidate assessment.
• Advanced knowledge of proactive recruiting techniques and sourcing methods.
• Understanding of human resources principles and practices related to staffing and recruitment.
• Working knowledge of personnel policies and procedures and federal and state employment laws and regulations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requisitions and tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and proactively anticipate the needs of the business.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on providing a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in office computer software and systems, including MS Office (Word, Excel) and requisition/candidate tracking systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Engaging and adaptable personality with the ability to respond quickly and positively to change.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Experience recruiting across a range of roles from entry-level to mid-level, with exposure to higher-level or executive placements considered a plus.
• Experience developing and executing staffing strategies for different business functions and levels.
• Experience enhancing staffing systems, tracking, reporting, and analytics to improve recruiting outcomes.
• Familiarity with leveraging networking and employee referral programs as part of sourcing strategies.
• Experience managing college relations and supporting internship or early-career programs.
• Exposure to relocation and immigration processes related to staffing administration.
• Ability to develop promotional and recruitment materials to support employer branding and staffing initiatives.
• Experience conducting market and competitor research to understand talent pools and inform sourcing strategies.
• Comfort presenting staffing trends, metrics, and retention insights to stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional networks with colleges, universities, community organizations, and professional associations.

This position is 100% onsite in Bedford, OH, providing close collaboration with hiring managers and HR colleagues in a traditional office environment. You will work primarily with office technologies, including MS Office applications, candidate tracking systems, and online recruiting platforms. The role operates in a fast-paced, high-volume setting where priorities can shift quickly, requiring adaptability and strong time management. The environment emphasizes professionalism, confidentiality, and regular in-person interaction with internal stakeholders and, when applicable, onsite candidate meetings.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bedford, OH.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
