Work Environment

The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life routine.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient conditions and needs to tailor individualized treatment plans that encompass a range of therapeutic modalities.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, ensuring dedicated attention and personalized care for each patient.
• Administer effective and cost-efficient physical therapy interventions, focusing on enhancing patients' range of motion, strength, flexibility, and overall mobility.
• Actively promote non-surgical treatment options to patients and provide education on pain management strategies to minimize reliance on medication.
• Develop and implement customized fitness and wellness programs aimed at maintaining patients' optimal health and functional independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment outcomes, and any updates to care plans, utilizing EMR software such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document and monitor treatment outcomes, adjusting care strategies as needed to progressively facilitate patients' rehabilitation goals.
• Foster a motivating environment, encouraging patients to engage actively in their therapy while providing emotional support throughout their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily focuses on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with a varied patient demographic, from active adults seeking to get back to their sports and daily activities to older adults looking to regain independence after injuries. Your role will significantly impact their recovery and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (MPT) or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active state license as a Physical Therapist in Florida, with no record of disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise program design.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for effective patient documentation and progress tracking.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute treatment plans that yield positive patient outcomes.
• Knowledge of recent advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
• Experience with patient education and counseling to reinforce treatment objectives.

Compensation and Benefits
