Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist for a full-time position at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Jacksonville, Florida. In this vital role, you will be an essential partner on patients' journeys to restore their motion and enhance their overall functionality. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, intervention, and rehabilitation in outpatient orthopedic settings.

Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy is a private practice run by licensed physical therapists, known for our commitment to excellence in patient care and rehabilitation services. Our facility spans an impressive 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced sports medicine technologies. We primarily serve individuals with private medical insurance and pride ourselves on our personalized approach to therapy. Our small but dedicated team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all dedicated to helping our patients reach their optimal health and mobility goals.

Work Environment

The work setting is entirely onsite at our private outpatient clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. The facility is designed to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere where patients can feel comfortable while receiving their therapy. You will operate in a collaborative environment, working alongside fellow therapists and support staff, all of whom are committed to providing top-tier care. The clinic's operational hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a predictable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to identify their goals, needs, and limitations, creating individualized treatment plans that motivate and inspire.
• Manage a patient caseload, seeing one patient per hour, to ensure focused attention and personalized care.
• Implement evidence-based treatment techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and treatment outcomes, utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to create comprehensive care strategies for shared patients, supporting holistic recovery.
• Encourage healthy lifestyles by designing tailored fitness programs that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Utilize advanced clinical knowledge to explore alternative treatment methods, aiming to reduce patients' reliance on medications or surgical interventions.
• Motivate and empower patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, ensuring they remain engaged and optimistic about their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions—ranging from athletes seeking to improve performance to individuals requiring rehabilitation due to everyday injuries. Our focus is on delivering personalized care that addresses the unique goals of each patient while aiding in their return to physical activity and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A strong professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and competent in developing and executing exercise protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical records, specifically with WebPT software.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome applicants who are newly licensed, candidates with prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings will be preferred. Preference will also be given to therapists who exhibit exceptional skills in manual therapy and a comprehensive understanding of exercise prescription.

Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy offers a competitive compensation package, with salaries ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
