Work Environment

This role is set in an outpatient office environment located in the vibrant city of Jacksonville, Florida. Your regular work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. As the clinic operates primarily within the outpatient setting, you will experience the satisfaction of witnessing the immediate impacts of care delivery while working collaboratively with a supportive team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' needs and identify specific goals for rehabilitation.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring individualized attention and high-quality care during each session.
• Provide evidence-based interventions aimed at improving mobility and functional abilities, integrating manual therapy techniques as necessary.
• Design, implement, and adjust exercise and rehabilitation programs tailored to the unique needs of each patient, taking into account their progress and feedback.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring holistic treatment for each patient.
• Document patient care plans, interventions, and progress utilizing EMR software, such as WebPT, to enhance continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term wellness.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive environment that encourages recovery.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust care strategies in response to assessed progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals with orthopedic conditions including postoperative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. You will engage with a diverse patient population and have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to their rehabilitation journeys, helping them enhance their physical capabilities and achieve health objectives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of specialized exercise programs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is highly advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to develop successful rehabilitation programs that address a variety of patient needs.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
