Vital Strength PT, a leading rehabilitation center located in Jacksonville, Florida, is actively seeking a Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team. In this dynamic role, you will play an essential part in guiding patients on their journey to recovery and improved mobility, ensuring they can achieve their highest functional level.

Work Environment

You will be working onsite in our vibrant rehabilitation center, collaborating within a dedicated team that includes two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). We maintain a supportive environment where each team member contributes to fostering a culture of high-quality patient care and professional development. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, balancing a fulfilling career with personal time.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs that address the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Provide care for 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring high-quality interactions and diverse therapeutic modalities tailored to enhance recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop comprehensive care plans designed to improve physical function, prevent further injuries, and enhance overall well-being.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and track patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on patient outcomes and feedback.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient treatment.
• Document patient progress and treatment strategies using electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.
• Encourage and educate patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, emphasizing wellness, strength, balance, and coordination throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Inspire and motivate patients to actively participate in their recovery through personalized fitness and wellness regimens.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be primarily on orthopedic outpatient care, working closely with individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries and surgeries. Our patient population ranges from athletes seeking performance enhancement to everyday individuals aiming to improve their mobility and reduce pain through non-surgical interventions.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• Current state Physical Therapist license with no board actions or disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
• Proficiency with EMR software, particularly WebPT, for effective documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient care, with a track record of successfully managing patient rehabilitation.
• Skill in developing individualized treatment plans to address complex patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, reflective of your skills and experience.
