The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care within our new outpatient orthopedic clinic, effectively treating a diverse patient population. Work Environment

Our Jacksonville clinic operates on an onsite basis, allowing for direct and continuous interaction with our patients. As a full-time physical therapist working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, you will be part of a vibrant team that values communication, collaboration, and shared knowledge. You will treat approximately 5-7 patients each day, creating a balanced and manageable caseload that allows for personalized attention. Our modern facility features state-of-the-art therapeutic equipment and dedicated spaces for individualized treatment plans, enabling you to deliver quality care and effectively monitor patient progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients to identify their individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and educational workshops focused on patient wellness.

• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Provide educational resources and support to patients and their families on injury prevention, post-treatment protocols, and rehabilitation strategies.

• Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation to comply with clinic policies and regulatory standards, and actively participate in team meetings to enhance overall care quality.

• Stay updated with the latest developments in physical therapy best practices through continuous education and training opportunities provided by the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic caters to a diverse clientele, including athletes of all levels recovering from sports-related injuries, as well as adults dealing with a variety of acute and chronic conditions. You will address issues ranging from spinal problems to extremity injuries, using a comprehensive approach that emphasizes personalized care and functional recovery. Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program is required.

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred; however, recent graduates with relevant clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.

• Proficient knowledge and practical experience with therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, functional movement assessments, and contemporary rehabilitation practices.

• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities to foster relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

Experience in utilizing modern physical therapy modalities and systems to enhance patient care will be an advantage. Familiarity with specialized software for documentation and patient management will be beneficial in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive salary range between $100,000 and $120,000, commensurate with experience, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
