Work Environment

This role is based in our modern outpatient office, where you will work onsite Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and technology, providing a conducive atmosphere for clinical practice and hands-on patient engagement. You will be surrounded by a team of healthcare professionals who prioritize teamwork, open communication, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to establish their specific mobility goals and therapeutic needs.
• Maintain a patient load that allows for comprehensive care, typically managing one patient per hour to ensure focused, individualized attention.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using a diverse range of therapeutic techniques aimed at improving physical function.
• Provide evidence-based interventions that enhance patients' functional capacity and minimize reliance on pain medications.
• Utilize effective manual therapy techniques in addition to designing supportive exercise programs tailored to patient specifications.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring clear communication among our multidisciplinary team.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their therapy process, fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Stay informed about emerging advancements in physical therapy practices to continue providing exceptional care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work at Insightful Motion Therapy will focus primarily on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. You will encounter a diverse client base, tailoring your approach to meet the needs of various demographics. This can include young athletes seeking to enhance performance, seniors aiming to restore mobility, and individuals working to manage pain or post-operative rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate degree (MPT or DPT) is preferred.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no disciplinary actions recorded against your license.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and capable of designing effective exercise programs.
• Experience with EMR software, specifically WebPT, to facilitate efficient patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
