Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluations, which include reviewing patient history and performing specific assessments, ultimately leading to clear recommendations and thorough documentation of results.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans clearly to patients and their families, ensuring collaboration on goal-setting that is centered around the patient's needs.
• Implement treatment protocols that align with the latest clinical guidelines and consider changes in the patient's condition throughout the therapeutic process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team; consult with fellow healthcare professionals as necessary and take proactive steps in modifying care plans based on patient progress.
• Ensure efficient discharge planning and follow-up, accurately documenting all aspects of patient care, including initial evaluations, treatment goals, interim progress notes, and final assessments.
• Engage in effective time management to meet productivity expectations while attending scheduled meetings punctually and participating in marketing activities to promote our services.
• Participate in the development of departmental goals, adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Take the initiative to pursue continuing education opportunities for both personal growth and organizational advancement. Mentor and serve as a clinical instructor for assigned students.
• Provide exceptional customer service that enhances patient access and experience, adapting practices as necessary to meet diverse needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient clinics cater to a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, sports-related injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. The role emphasizes a personalized and compassionate approach, ensuring that each patient receives tailored care to facilitate optimal recovery and overall health.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• American Heart Association's BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn; newly licensed candidates will also be considered.
• Prior experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings, particularly in a team-based environment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
