Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Jacksonville, Florida, where you will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals in an encouraging, collaborative environment. Our clinic operates from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, providing a supportive work-life balance while allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized physical therapy services tailored to meet patients' unique rehabilitation goals and needs.
• Manage an organized caseload to ensure thorough attention and care for each patient during their therapy sessions.
• Apply your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, utilizing manual therapy and exercise programming to optimize patient recovery.
• Incorporate a range of evidence-based treatment modalities to enhance patients' mobility and functional capacity.
• Promote non-surgical treatment alternatives to manage pain and improve functionality, minimizing reliance on medications.
• Develop and update comprehensive care plans that incorporate diverse therapeutic techniques and address each patient's progress.
• Tailor fitness and wellness programs that cater specifically to the unique lifestyle requirements of your patients.
• Continuously assess patient progress, adapting treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain precise documentation of patient care activities, utilizing EMR systems such as WebPT for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to foster a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with come from diverse backgrounds, including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals with chronic pain, and those rehabilitating post-surgery. Our focus is on providing care that respects the individual goals of each patient while addressing their specific needs, fostering an environment where they feel supported and motivated throughout their healing journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a closely related field is required. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with a clean record free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and a profound understanding of therapeutic modalities.
• Strong capability to develop and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Competence in using EMR software systems, specifically WebPT, for accurate patient record-keeping.
• Current knowledge of and adherence to best practices in physical therapy backed by research and continuous education.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting with a focus on orthopedic care is highly desirable.
• Experience in treating a wide variety of conditions, particularly those related to sports injuries and post-operative recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
