Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at our rehabilitation facility, where you will work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to recognize and address the specific objectives and requirements of each patient.
• Maintain a consistent patient load, typically handling one patient per hour to ensure focused, quality care.
• Formulate and execute comprehensive treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques across a spectrum of rehabilitation modalities.
• Administer cost-effective therapies aimed at enhancing patients' range of motion and overall mobility.
• Actively reduce reliance on medications through non-invasive therapies and propose individualized non-surgical alternatives.
• Design custom fitness and wellness plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient to foster long-term health outcomes.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to optimize functionality and independence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to integrate care effectively, ensuring comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to document patient services accurately and monitor progress.
• Evaluate patient outcomes regularly and adapt treatment protocols based on objective data and observations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida, without any record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and designing effective exercise programs.
• Experience utilizing EMR software, particularly WebPT, for managing patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly advantageous and preferable.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in a clinical setting.
• Experience with patient motivation strategies and lifestyle management techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
