Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical capabilities and developing tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based interventions across a wide spectrum of specialties, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities to address specific patient conditions, ensuring consistent progress in recovery.
• Provide exceptional customer service, contributing to a nurturing therapeutic environment and fostering a positive experience for patients and their families.
• Engage with patients and their caregivers in educational sessions, empowering them with knowledge about their conditions and rehabilitation processes.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring the highest quality of care at every stage.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize patient outcomes through shared knowledge and coordinated care efforts.
• Achieve and maintain compliance with minimum utilization goals and organizational targets.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will interact with a diverse mix of patients, each facing unique challenges. You will assist individuals recovering from surgeries, athletes rehabilitating from injuries, and pediatric patients requiring specialized care. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding these patients towards achieving their health goals effectively.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is strongly preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
• Proficient in using computer systems and word processing software for documentation and communication.
• Inherent ability to establish meaningful patient relationships and inspire their commitment to treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a rehabilitation setting is a plus, especially with diverse patient populations.
• Demonstrated ability to implement evidence-based treatments and adapt strategies to meet varying patient needs.
• Experience in mentorship or training roles is beneficial, fostering team development and cooperation.

Compensation and Benefits
