Work Environment

This position operates within the patient's home, providing a unique and personalized environment for therapy sessions. Our therapist's workspace will include various residential settings, ensuring that each patient receives appropriate care tailored to their specific needs. Our goal is to ensure safety, comfort, and maximum therapeutic engagement during each visit. You will work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to understand patients' objectives, medical history, and personal health goals, leading to tailored intervention strategies.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, delivering high-quality, individualized care that emphasizes evidence-based practice.
• Implement and administer innovative, cost-effective therapies to improve patients' range of motion and mobility—examples include hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate diverse therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient's needs.
• Foster patients' motivation by encouraging them throughout their recovery process, helping them overcome physical limitations and achieve their functional goals.
• Document and track patient progress meticulously in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to refine treatment strategies and address any patient concerns.
• Monitor, evaluate, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress, ensuring that care remains aligned with their ongoing goals.
• Educate patients and their families about home exercises, wellness strategies, and lifestyle modifications to promote lasting recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Our patients are diverse in age and background, and your adaptability and patient-centered approach will be crucial in addressing their unique needs. The focus remains not only on recovery but on enhancing functionality and independence in their daily lives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, candidates holding a Master's degree (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy are preferred.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida is mandatory.
• A clean record with no board or disciplinary actions associated with your professional license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist in outpatient orthopedic settings is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to create individualized fitness and rehabilitation plans tailored to patient needs.
• Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
