Located in the vibrant city of Jacksonville, Florida, Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy is a PT-owned outpatient practice dedicated to providing exceptional physical therapy services. Our state-of-the-art sports medicine facility spans 5,000 square feet and features cutting-edge technology and rehabilitation equipment. We prioritize patient-centered care and foster a supportive environment aimed at achieving optimal health outcomes. Our team comprises highly skilled professionals, including two physical therapists and one PTA, all committed to working collaboratively for comprehensive patient care.

Work Environment

Our outpatient office offers a warm and professional atmosphere, promoting teamwork and communication among healthcare providers. You will work directly with patients from Monday to Friday, between 9 AM and 5 PM, ensuring a balanced schedule that allows for deep patient engagement. The layout of our facility is designed for efficient therapy delivery, featuring private treatment rooms, a gym area for therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation equipment tailored to various clinical needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify and address each patient's goals and requirements tailored to their specific conditions.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, typically seeing one individual per hour to ensure a focused and personalized therapy experience.
• Deliver cost-effective treatment methods that enhance patients' mobility and range of motion while reducing their reliance on medication and invasive surgical procedures.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans that incorporate various therapeutic intervention techniques, ensuring that each program is customized to the patient's individual needs.
• Motivate and guide patients through each stage of their rehabilitation process, creating tailored fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving their overall health and activity levels.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes actively and monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Document all patient care services and treatment outcomes diligently, maintaining clear and open communication with patients and interdisciplinary team members.
• Encourage patients to adopt healthier lifestyles by enhancing their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through targeted exercises.
• Engage and collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with diverse patients seeking orthopedic rehabilitation. This may include athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals recovering from surgeries, or patients managing chronic conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in providing them with personalized care that addresses their unique challenges and helps them achieve their restored mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid foundation in providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing effective exercise protocols targeting various patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
