Licensed Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedic Specialist

Position Overview

Serenity Motion Therapy is seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Jacksonville, Florida. This full-time position is dedicated to working in our orthopedic outpatient office, where you will play a pivotal role in helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with a supportive team, consisting of two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, all of whom share a common goal of delivering exceptional patient care.

Work Environment

This full-time role requires you to work onsite in our modern outpatient facility located in a vibrant community in Jacksonville, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and address each patient's goals, limitations, and needs effectively.
• Manage a designated caseload of one patient per hour, allowing for focused, individualized attention to each person.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that include various therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques to enhance functional mobility.
• Facilitate rehabilitation through targeted interventions aimed at restoring range of motion, strength, and coordination, targeting both post-operative patients and those with chronic pain conditions.
• Motivate and educate patients to maximize their potential during therapy sessions, fostering adherence to their rehabilitation programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all patient care services provided, including evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports, to ensure quality control and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in orthopedic physical therapy to continually improve practice and enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population of patients suffering from various orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. You will work with individuals of all ages, including adolescents, adults, and seniors, all of whom require compassionate care and effective rehabilitation strategies to return to their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Possesses a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to professional development with an unblemished record in practice, free from disciplinary actions.
• Exhibits proficiency in manual therapy techniques and successfully develops and implements personalized exercise protocols.
• Is familiar with utilizing electronic medical records (EMR), particularly WebPT, to efficiently document patient interactions and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, showcasing an understanding of the unique challenges and approaches in this specialty.
• Experience working with EMR systems enhances efficiency in documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefits include:
