We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist who will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for our diverse patients. As an integral member of the PhysioCare Orthopedic Services team located in Jacksonville, Florida, you will utilize your expertise to assist individuals in reclaiming their mobility, addressing their specific needs through personalized treatment plans, and fostering their overall well-being. The anticipated salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 95,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.

Work Environment

Located in the heart of Jacksonville, our facility offers an onsite work environment that promotes collaboration among healthcare professionals and a focus on patient care. Our clinic features a spacious treatment area equipped with modern rehabilitation technologies. You will work standard hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while serving our patient population effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their objectives and treatment needs, ensuring tailored care that maximizes their recovery potential.
• Maintain a patient caseload that encourages in-depth interaction, typically seeing one patient per hour to provide focused care.
• Execute evidence-based interventions that promote functional independence and enhance mobility through a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans that encompass a range of modalities and empower patients towards achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement customized exercise and wellness programs, adapting based on real-time feedback from patients to promote ongoing engagement and motivation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to refine treatment strategies and improve patient outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Evaluate the efficacy of treatment plans regularly and adjust based on patient progress and evolving needs.
• Offer educational resources to patients and their families on injury prevention and healthy lifestyle choices, encouraging long-term well-being.
• Foster a positive therapeutic environment that encourages trust, openness, and motivation among patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will provide care primarily to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility and function. Our patient population is diverse, including athletes seeking rehabilitation, individuals overcoming post-surgical recovery, and patients with long-standing musculoskeletal issues. Your role will help each patient regain their independence and improve their quality of life through focused therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no records of board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic modalities, and exercise prescription principles.
• Experience with EMR systems, ideally with familiarity in using WebPT for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable and will strengthen your ability to meet the diverse needs of our patients.
• Knowledge of advanced therapeutic approaches such as dry needling, cupping, or sports rehabilitation techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and effectively communicate with other healthcare providers and support staff.
