Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our expanding team in Jacksonville, Florida. This full-time role will involve actively guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys, enabling them to restore movement, enhance functionality, and improve their overall quality of life. Located in a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility, our practice is owned and operated by experienced physical therapists who understand the nuances of recovery in an outpatient setting.

Work Environment

The work setting is a collaborative and dynamic rehabilitation facility where patient-centered care is our top priority. You will be joining a small dedicated team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all passionate about making a positive difference in patient lives. Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on thorough patient evaluations.
• Managing a patient caseload, averaging one patient per hour, to ensure a focused and quality care experience.
• Utilizing various treatment techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to improve patients' range of motion, strength, and overall function.
• Working to minimize reliance on medications and providing alternatives to surgical interventions whenever feasible.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal results.
• Collaborating closely with healthcare colleagues, including physicians and specialists, to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient.
• Inspiring and motivating patients through their rehabilitation process to reach their maximum potential in physical activity and daily living.
• Promoting lifestyle changes that enhance overall wellness by addressing flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. We primarily accept patients with private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on personalized care without the constraints of overburdened services. The success of our treatment programs is reflected in the high levels of patient satisfaction and improved functional outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A clean professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions related to licensure.
• Strong manual therapy skills and expertise in rehabilitation protocols.
• Experience in using EMR software, specifically WebPT, to document patient care effectively.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
