This role is based onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Jacksonville, Florida. Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will undertake a variety of essential tasks, including but not limited to:

• Consulting with patients to obtain comprehensive assessments of their physical conditions and medical histories.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and designing personalized treatment plans that are evidence-based and align with patients' recovery goals.
• Educating patients on the proper use of therapeutic exercises, ensuring techniques are correctly implemented for maximum effectiveness.
• Administering hands-on treatment methods such as manual therapy techniques, soft tissue mobilization, and therapeutic modalities to facilitate healing.
• Guiding patients in the use of assistive devices and equipment, including wheelchairs or walkers, to ensure safe and effective mobility.
• Maintaining meticulous patient records, documenting treatment protocols, progress notes, and adjusting plans according to ongoing assessments.
• Communicating with patients and their families regarding in-home care strategies and exercise routines to support continued rehabilitation outside of therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Agility Peak Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adults, and seniors, each presenting with unique challenges and diagnoses. Our patients may include individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and those managing chronic pain or mobility issues. Qualifications

To qualify for this position, applicants must hold a Doctor's Degree in Physical Therapy and possess a valid state license to practice. Additional qualifications include:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for accurate documentation.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple patient caseloads efficiently.
• A passion for continual learning and professional development in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing physical therapist is required, we encourage new graduates who are eager to learn and grow within our supportive mentorship program to apply. Compensation and Benefits
