Senior Director, Strategic Programs

Role Description

Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Programs to serve as a trusted strategic partner to the Senior Vice President of Professional Services and the broader PS leadership team. This is a unique and high-impact role that operates at the intersection of organizational strategy, executive alignment, and hands-on program leadership.

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Professional Services, you will play a dual role:

• Support the SVP and leadership team in translating strategic priorities into coordinated action.
• Lead a portfolio of strategic initiatives that require senior ownership but are too early-stage or cross-cutting to sit within a single functional team.

Current programs include:

• The adoption of AI tools across the PS organization.
• Oversight of the Service Offering Manager function.
• The design and rollout of a PS enablement program.

Qualifications

• 12 or more years of progressive experience in professional services, strategy, program management, or organizational leadership within an enterprise software or technology company.
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional strategic programs from inception through transition to operational ownership.
• Experience supporting senior executive leadership in an advisory or strategic capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Genuine interest in and working knowledge of AI tools and their application in a professional services or enterprise software context.

Requirements

• Partner with the SVP of Professional Services to develop, communicate, and track progress against the PS organization's strategic priorities.
• Prepare high-quality materials for PS leadership team meetings, offsites, and planning sessions.
• Identify organizational gaps, coordination breakdowns, or strategic blind spots across the PS function.
• Serve as a thought partner and sounding board for the SVP on organizational design and strategic investments.
• Support the design and execution of the PS business rhythm.
• Lead a portfolio of high-priority, cross-functional strategic programs.
• Define program objectives, success criteria, governance structures, and transition plans for each initiative.
• Ensure that strategic programs are appropriately resourced and that risks and decisions are escalated to PS leadership.
• Lead the PS-wide initiative to accelerate the adoption of AI tools and capabilities.
• Develop and execute a structured AI adoption roadmap for PS.
• Provide senior oversight and strategic direction to the Service Offering Manager function.
• Lead the design, development, and rollout of a comprehensive Professional Services enablement program.

• Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, with a summary pay range of $200,000-$245,000.
