Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our outpatient office, you will work onsite in a dynamic and supportive atmosphere with a close-knit team that includes two fellow physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Your work hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a consistent schedule that allows you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to effectively identify and address each patient's goals and requirements.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, averaging one individual per hour, ensuring focused and dedicated care.
• Deliver evidence-based treatments aimed at improving clients' range of motion and mobility.
• Implement alternative strategies that reduce reliance on medications and provide non-invasive alternatives to surgical procedures.
• Develop comprehensive, personalized care plans that integrate manual therapy and exercise techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
• Create structured fitness and wellness programs to enhance the health and vitality of your patients.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation process, fostering engagement and commitment to their recovery.
• Enhance patients' overall health by promoting a lifestyle focused on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Thoroughly document all patient care services provided, monitoring treatment outcomes and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders involved in the patient's recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily caters to individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. By offering specialized care in a welcoming and supportive environment, our team works diligently to facilitate optimal outcomes for each patient. We emphasize patient engagement and education, knowing that informed patients are likely to achieve better health results.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid New Jersey state license for practicing as a Physical Therapist.
• An exemplary professional record with no disciplinary actions or board violations.
• Strong manual therapy skills, coupled with a proven ability to develop effective exercise protocols tailored to the needs of diverse patients.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable to better serve our patient population.
• A solid background in utilizing advanced treatment techniques and modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
