Accounts Receivable Specialist

Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist Riviera Beach, FL (Fully Onsite) A growing distribution company is seeking a Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its accounting team. This role is ideal for someone with strong billing and high-volume AR experience who enjoys analyzing customer accounts, resolving discrepancies, and supporting the overall cash collection process. This is not simply a payment-posting position. The company is looking for someone who understands how transactions impact customer accounts and can proactively identify issues, monitor aging, and support collections efforts. Responsibilities Process and apply high-volume customer payments Prepare and support customer billing activities Review customer accounts and AR aging reports Investigate payment discrepancies and billing issues Match invoices to supporting documentation and shipping records Work closely with operations, logistics, and accounting teams Assist with collections follow-up and account maintenance Support month-end reporting and reconciliation activities Qualifications 2+ years of billing, accounts receivable, or accounting support experience Experience in a high-volume transaction environment Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset Comfortable working with ERP systems and Excel Experience with AR aging, collections, and account analysis preferred Experience in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, food & beverage, or similar industries is a plus Bills of Lading (BOL) or shipping documentation experience is a plus 401(k) with company match PTO and paid holidays Why This Role Opportunity for long-term career growth High-volume environment with exposure to multiple areas of accounting and operations Collaborative team with strong leadership support #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
