Onsite Property Manager - Affordable Housing

We're currently seeking an onsite Community Manager to oversee operations for two adjacent communities totaling 150+ units in San Leandro, CA, including a HUD project-based Section 8 and tax credit site. This is a standout opportunity for an experienced affordable housing manager who is deeply fluent in HUD compliance, EIV, and recertifications and who wants to lead a stabilized, high-demand community with an established onsite team and active, funded capital improvements. This role requires living on site and includes a free 3-bedroom townhome, creating a highly competitive overall package in the Bay Area. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations for two adjacent communities totaling 150+ units, including a 100% HUD project-based Section 8 site Maintain strong occupancy performance and drive a stabilized community from high-90s occupancy toward 100% Ensure HUD compliance across resident files, including annual and interim recertifications and audit readiness using EIV Lead and support an onsite team across leasing/occupancy, maintenance, and resident services functions Coordinate ongoing capital improvement work while maintaining strong resident experience and operational consistency Qualifications 5+ years of property management experience, including multiple years in HUD-assisted housing Hands-on experience with HUD project-based Section 8 is required Strong working knowledge of EIV and the recertification process, including interim recerts Experience managing 100+ unit communities is strongly preferred Willingness to live on site as a condition of employment Earn up to $68k in total compensation (base plus bonus potential) Free onsite 3-bedroom townhome included as part of the role Full benefits package including all major insurance, 401k, and PTO Stabilized, high-occupancy community with an established onsite team and shared coverage for property walks Work for a nationwide company that can offer growth and stability #J-18808-Ljbffr Percy
