About Us
Roederer Law PLLC is applying to the Arizona Supreme Court for licensure as an Alternative Business Structure (ABS). The firm will focus on probate and estate matters for Arizona clients, supported by an established management services organization that handles intake, marketing, CRM, and operations. We are looking for an experienced Arizona probate attorney to serve as our Designated Compliance Lawyer and lead attorney.

The Role
You will be named as the firm’s Compliance Lawyer on our ABS application and paid a monthly retainer while the application is processed. Client intake are handled by our intake teaml. Once licensed, you will:

• Review each new matter to confirm whether it is a viable probate case
• Review and approve every petition before it is filed with the court
• Supervise probate, estate administration, wills, and trust matters for Arizona clients
• Oversee the firm’s compliance with the Arizona Rules of Professional Conduct and ACJA § 7-209
• Set up and maintain policies for conflict checks, engagement agreements, trust accounting, and calendaring
• Review all advertising and client communications for compliance
• Conduct and document semi-annual compliance audits
• Act as the firm’s main contact with the Arizona Supreme Court and the State Bar of Arizona

Requirements (must meet all)

• Active member in good standing of the State Bar of Arizona
• Substantial experience practicing probate and estate law in Arizona
• Demonstrated law practice management experience (e.g., running your own practice or managing a team or department)
• No reprimand or admonition in any jurisdiction in the past 5 years
• No disbarment or disciplinary suspension in any jurisdiction in the past 10 years
• Willing to hold decision-making authority within the firm and consent to designation as Compliance Lawyer
