Job Summary The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records. This role supports the finance team by handling day-to-day accounts payable functions with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner Match invoices to purchase orders through Medius (AP ERP system) Verify invoice approvals and resolve discrepancies with internal departments Maintain vendor files and respond to vendor inquiries Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding issues Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures Assist with audits by providing documentation as requested Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred) 1–3 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience Basic understanding of accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Netsuite, Medius) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Good communication and customer service skills Preferred Skills Experience with high-volume invoice processing Knowledge of 3-way matching Ability to work independently and as part of a team Working Conditions Office-based/Hybrid position with standard business hours Occasional overtime during month-end or year-end close Physical Requirements Must be able to carry and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds. This position will require sitting for long periods of time, walking, standing, bending, as well as using fine motor skills, such as finger dexterity.
