Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, where you will visit clients in their homes, fostering a comforting and supportive environment for rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to assess the physical function of clients by implementing diagnostic tests and analyzing muscle, nerve, and joint capabilities.
• Develop personalized treatment plans aimed at alleviating pain, preventing disability, restoring function, and maximizing client performance.
• Oversee and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in implementing care plans, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and quality standards.
• Evaluate and modify home environments to support rehabilitation goals, suggesting necessary adaptations to increase client independence.
• Administer a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercises, and utilization of physical agents such as traction and massage.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring timely submission per branch policy.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop comprehensive care strategies tailored to client needs.
• Offer training and education to clients and families regarding the use of therapy equipment and overall care protocols.
• Provide feedback to physicians and case managers regarding client progress and recommend adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Manage documentation related to client care and administrative processes, maintaining compliance with state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work with a diverse patient demographic, including those recovering from surgery, individuals with chronic pain, stroke survivors, and others requiring rehabilitative support. Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Current Physical Therapy license in good standing within Virginia.
• Certification: Valid CPR certification.
• Attributes: Strong problem-solving capabilities, effective communication skills, and a passion for delivering quality patient care.
• Experience: At least one year of professional experience as a physical therapist, preferably in acute care or home care settings.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of experience is required, candidates with experience in home care scenarios, leadership roles, or those certified in specialized therapeutic techniques will be considered favorably. Compensation and Benefits

Fine Spine Physical Therapy & Wellness offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
