Work Environment

This position requires working onsite at our outpatient office in Woodbridge, Virginia. Our clinic is open Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while serving our patients effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored physical therapy services to help patients regain their mobility and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload to ensure quality care and individualized attention.
• Leverage your experience in orthopedic outpatient therapy to design and implement effective treatment strategies.
• Utilize cost-efficient methods that focus on non-surgical interventions to optimize patient outcomes.
• Formulate comprehensive care plans and conduct regular evaluations to track progress and make necessary adjustments.
• Motivate patients through personalized fitness and wellness programs that enhance strength, flexibility, and overall health.
• Stay abreast of the latest physical therapy techniques and research, incorporating evidence-based practices into your care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of treatments using EMR software, with a focus on Web PT.
• Engage consistently with other healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment plans and ensure holistic patient care.
• Encourage a proactive, health-oriented mindset in patients to promote a commitment to their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as a Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with individuals recuperating from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and other musculoskeletal issues. Our patient population includes athletes of various skill levels, active adults, and seniors seeking to improve their mobility and overall wellness. By focusing on individualized care, you will help patients overcome physical barriers and enhance their functional abilities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• A clean professional record with no sanctions or disciplinary proceedings.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of responsive exercise programs.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT.
• Strong foundational knowledge in current physical therapy methodologies and best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of experience in outpatient physical therapy settings.
• Familiarity with sports rehabilitation and treatment of sports-related injuries.
• Experience in developing wellness programs that address diverse patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
