Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR Circulator RN) Job Type: Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 07/27/2026 Shift: Days, Monday to Friday (5x8-hour shifts), Rotating Call Specialty: Nursing - Operating Room / Circulate & Scrub Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years EMR: Meditech Job Description We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a dynamic surgical team. The OR RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process while ensuring a safe and effective surgical environment. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the operating room. Function as a Circulating Nurse and/or Scrub Nurse during surgical procedures. Conduct patient assessments and monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery. Recognize and respond to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications. Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and recovery expectations. Maintain operating room standards, equipment, and patient safety protocols. Participate in on-call coverage as required. Requirements Active Washington State RN License or Multistate RN License . Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience . Previous experience in Operating Room and Recovery Room nursing preferred. Active BLS/CPR Certification (American Heart Association). Active ACLS Certification . Active PALS Certification . Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Additional Information Holiday coverage required. Quick start opportunity.
