Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our expanding team in Elizabeth, New Jersey. As a full-time member of our outpatient practice, you will play a crucial role in helping patients restore mobility, manage pain, and achieve their optimal performance. At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional outpatient physical therapy services to individuals primarily covered by private medical insurance. Our facility boasts 5,000 square feet of state-of-the-art equipment and treatment areas designed for optimal patient experience and recovery. Our team consists of two skilled physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), all committed to fostering a supportive environment for both patients and team members.

Work Environment

Located in Elizabeth, New Jersey, our office provides a collaborative and professional atmosphere that emphasizes patient-centered care. You will work on-site, utilizing modern technology and resources in a well-structured outpatient office. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, which promotes a healthy work-life balance while allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to recognize and fulfill the specific objectives and requirements of each patient.
• Manage a patient load of approximately two individuals per hour, ensuring personalized care and attention.
• Administer evidence-based therapies aimed at enhancing patients' range of motion, strength, and overall mobility.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that integrate a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
• Design customized fitness and wellness programs that promote long-term health and prevent future injuries.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their recovery process to optimize their functionality and adherence to treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each patient's treatment.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes and monitor patient progress through effective communication and documentation methods.
• Stay current with best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation to minimize reliance on medications and explore non-surgical alternatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Our focus on providing specialized care means that you will work closely with patients from various backgrounds, tailoring interventions to meet their unique needs and lifestyle goals. Our facility serves clients who typically have private medical insurance, ensuring that we provide quality care without the constraints often found in other settings.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, with no record of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of personalized exercise programs.
• Experience and competency in using electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Hands-on experience with diverse treatment methods and a strong understanding of rehabilitation protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver individualized and high-quality patient care while maintaining efficient workflows.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
