Work Environment

This position is stationed at our outpatient office in Elizabethport, NJ, where you will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a supportive onsite environment. The outpatient nature of the clinic offers a dynamic setting where you will interact with a diverse patient demographic, ranging from athletes to post-surgical victims seeking to restore their pre-injury levels of physical activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' specific orthopedic needs, goals, and functional limitations.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, incorporating modalities like manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance recovery.
• Educate patients on preventive measures and self-management strategies that promote long-term health and well-being.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness through standardized outcome measures, documenting all findings in electronic health records with accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to integrate various treatment philosophies for comprehensive patient care.
• Engage in continuous professional development efforts, including attending workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a physical therapist within our orthopedic outpatient center, you will provide care primarily to individuals recovering from sports injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will empower patients to regain strength, flexibility, and mobility, allowing them to return to their daily activities and achieve their personal health goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• An active and unrestricted New Jersey state license to practice physical therapy.
• At least two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• A clean professional record, free from board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in advanced manual therapy techniques and a strong background in therapeutic exercise programming.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic documentation systems and familiarity with outcome-based assessment protocols.
• Specialty certifications in orthopedic physical therapy or other relevant disciplines are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse caseload, adapting treatment approaches to meet varying patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, supplemented by potential bonuses based on performance metrics.
