Key Responsibilities\n

• Build therapeutic relationships with patients and their families, ensuring a safe space for open dialogue and assessment.

• Conduct comprehensive admission assessments, evaluating patients for suicidality and risk factors, and facilitating the onboarding process with professionalism and empathy.

• Participate actively in weekly treatment team meetings to discuss patient progress, establishing and revising treatment goals in collaboration with colleagues.
\n
• Provide necessary utilization reviews to insurance providers to secure initial and ongoing authorizations, ensuring that clients receive uninterrupted care.
\n
• Be accessible to clients' families, prioritizing regular communication and prompt responses to inquiries within a 2-hour window during business hours.
\n
• Communicate effectively with the Utilization Review Department regarding service authorizations and collaborate with other healthcare providers for continuity of care throughout the treatment process.
\n
• Engage in proactive discharge planning from the day of admission, addressing coping strategies, transition resources, and confirming follow-up appointments prior to patient discharge.
\n
• Manage crisis situations adeptly during therapy sessions and within the clinical environment, providing guidance and support to other staff members as required.
\n
• Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation throughout the treatment course, meeting organizational standards for record-keeping.

In this role, you will be working with a varied patient demographic, primarily consisting of individuals seeking support for a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health challenges. As a therapist, you will be instrumental in not only aiding individuals in crisis but also in promoting mental health awareness and education within the community.

Qualifications\n

• Active, independent licensure in the state of Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, LPC).

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or social work from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
