Our remote work setting embraces flexibility, allowing you to manage your schedule while providing services to those in need. Operating between 7 am and 10 pm, seven days a week, we understand the varying needs of our clients and enable our clinicians to find a work-life balance conducive to their personal commitments. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and formulate suitable treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies that center on trauma recovery and resilience, using evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to helping patients process trauma, implement coping strategies, and enhance overall healing.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and support staff, to provide integrated care tailored to patient needs.

• Respond to crisis situations with effective interventions and emotional support, ensuring patient safety during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, develop coping techniques, and assist in connecting them with necessary community resources.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

• Engage actively in case consultations and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest findings in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele primarily consists of individuals navigating the challenges associated with trauma, including both acute and complex trauma cases. As an LPC at One Step Forward Recovery & Counseling, you will work with a diverse demographic, allowing you to use your skills to empower clients in their healing journeys. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.

• Proficient knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Ability to produce and manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently.

• Excellent communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure counseling experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
