Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain a manageable caseload of clients, establishing trust and open communication while adhering to strict ethical guidelines.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to monitor their progress, reassess treatment goals, and make adjustments as necessary, including discussions about discharge planning.

• Develop and monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each client under your care.

• Complete thorough intake assessments to gather relevant client history and present concerns, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
\n
• Document all client interactions and progress meticulously to uphold high clinical standards and meet legal and organizational requirements.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, including individual supervision, to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic support and optimize client outcomes.

• Adopt a growth mindset, seeking feedback and continuously improving therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily focus on youth clients, requiring an empathetic approach to address the unique challenges faced by adolescents and young adults. You will support clients dealing with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and substance abuse, all through a lens of compassion and personalized care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• A current and valid Licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
\n
• Proven ability to meet the credentialing requirements necessary for practice within our clinical settings.
\n
• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric populations and/or addressing substance use disorders.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing clinical assessments and both individual and group therapeutic sessions.

• A basic understanding of computer systems and software, as well as strong keyboarding skills for documentation purposes.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in telehealth counseling, demonstrating adaptability to virtual settings and technology.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in youth therapy, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Background in crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
