Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Highland Rivers Counseling Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating group therapy sessions where clients can share their experiences, foster connections, and support one another in their recovery journeys.

• Providing one-on-one counseling to clients, helping them navigate their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing tailored coping strategies.

• Creating individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that these plans reflect their unique needs and objectives.

• Monitoring client progress through various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care and discuss complex cases.

• Engaging in continuous professional development and participating in team meetings to enhance your skills and contribute to our collective knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with young adults aged 18 to 30, assisting those who are navigating significant life transitions and mental health challenges. Our outpatient treatment center offers tailored support for individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. You will have the opportunity to witness firsthand the transformation of young lives as they embark on their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado.

Preferred Experience\n

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of direct experience in mental health treatment, particularly those who have worked with adolescent and young adult populations. Experience using evidence-based therapeutic techniques as well as familiarity with group therapy practices will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n
