Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your primary role will be to provide therapeutic services to young adults aged 18 to 30 within our outpatient treatment center, primarily to individuals participating in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead engaging and supportive therapy sessions where clients can connect, share experiences, and learn from one another. You'll employ techniques to foster a sense of belonging and community.

• Conducting Individual Therapy: Offer personalized counseling sessions focused on understanding clients’ thoughts and emotions. You'll guide clients in exploring coping strategies and action plans tailored to their specific challenges.

• Creating Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and preferences. You’ll make use of clinical assessment tools and developmental feedback to inform these plans.

• Monitoring Progress: Regularly assess and document clients’ progress through various assessment mechanisms and feedback tools, ensuring that the therapeutic approach remains effective and adaptive.

• Collaboration: Work seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care, consult on complex cases, and optimize treatment outcomes for our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will directly impact young adults facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and transitional life issues. This role allows you to empower clients in their healing journey, supporting them as they learn to manage their mental health and regain control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant counseling experience, specifically with young adults.

• Experience in a community health clinic or outpatient treatment setting.

• Familiarity with group therapy methodologies and treatment planning.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
