Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Holding a manageable caseload of clients whilst establishing and maintaining positive working relationships in accordance with professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conducting initial intake assessments to gather comprehensive information about new clients and their mental health needs.
\n
• Developing, implementing, and actively monitoring individualized treatment plans tailored to clients’ unique needs and goals.

• Meeting with clients regularly to review their progress, discuss stability, and prepare plans for discharge when appropriate.

• Documenting client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in a timely and thorough manner, adhering to clinical best practices.

• Participating in individual supervision sessions to foster professional growth and enhance clinical skills.

• Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and resource sharing.

• Maintaining an attitude of continuous improvement and a growth mindset in all aspects of your counseling practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your counseling practice will focus primarily on youth, bridging the gap for adolescents dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. You will be instrumental in guiding your clients toward greater mental well-being through evidence-based therapeutic techniques and consultation with families when necessary.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• A commitment to fulfilling internal credentialing requirements within relevant clinical settings.

• At least one year of experience in clinical settings addressing psychiatric issues and/or substance use disorders.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
